Little and Fierce Stylish Kids Accessories

Little & Fierce are my go to when looking for cool accessories for the little lads and lass. Especially at Christmas time, they have a great stocking filler section of quality little goodies! Cool accessories the kids will just love all year long.

Earlier this year I reviewed Little & Fierce and amongst the other lovely accessories , I was sent this Ampersands Commodities hunter style hat but it was too big for Beaux at the time. I was warned it was for ages 3+ but I wouldn't be told, I was obsessed with the design and style of this hat.

Amperdsand Commodities Hat - Little and Fierce £15.00

For me this hunter style hat has a retro feel to it, it reminds me of a bonnet I had as a child but mine was red with a little grey pompom, I couldn't have been more than 3yrs old but I remember it so clearly, I loved that bright hat with its soft fluffy flaps that kept my ears toasty and warm. I also insisted on having it tied in a bow underneath my chin, I can't explain it now but I guess there was something comforting about it. So naturally I had to have this hat even though Beaux wouldn't get to wear it until now, but I'm sure you would agree it was totally worth the wait!

As much as I love the style of this hat I can not get enough of the Aztec design, stunning bright colours and oversized handmade pompom. I always try to make sure the little lads have a couple of colourful hats for the winter. They are so refreshing when the weather is a bit cold and dreary! Get over to Little & Fierce to see their full range.

Introducing JORD Wood Watch

I can't wait to introduce you to my newest love, my beautiful JORD Wood Watch. The moment I saw this watch I fell in love, I had never seen a wooden watch like this before. I love how understated the Koa wood is but then the contrast of rose gold and Swarovski crystals really livens it up and make it something quite special! It's so easy to style and will go with absolutely everything, dressed up or down an every day watch.

Cora Koa & Rose Gold  - JORD Wood Watch - FREE Worldwide Shipping

Every time I have worn my Cora JORD Wood Watch I have received loads of compliments, I think because it is so unique people have wanted to take a closer look. For this reason I think a JORD Wood Watch would make an excellent Christmas present for your mum, sister, best friend or even your other half, the men's range is equally as gorgeous and definitely has the wow factor!

My watch came beautifully packaged in a wooden box with a sliding lid, resting on a lovely little tweed pillow, Cora lives in here when shes not being paraded around on my wrist.

Another thing I love about my JORD Wood Watch is that it fits me perfectly, it is made to measure, which is such a lovely touch. No matter what type of strap I wear, a belt strap, a shoe strap I always seem to be the hole or buckle in between, meaning its either too tight or too loose and it drives me mad. Being able to send the measurement of exactly how I like to wear my watch was an absolute bonus!

This Koa and Rose Gold wooden watch is one of five from the Cora series, I chose this particular colour as I thought it would really suit my skin tone but it was a real toss up between her and Purple Heart and Pearl, I am a sucker for burgundy especially at Christmas time it really was a tough decision, the JORD range is so lovely, something to suit all styles.

Psst - Keep an eye out for a GIVEAWAY later this week to win your very own JORD Wood Watch.

Pocket Money Christmas Gift Ideas

All From Stocking Fillers
Russian Doll Pen £1.99 For Mum because who doesn't like pretty stationary
Retro Coin Purse £2.49 For Big Sister These purse are super cool, any lover of colour will adore these.
Mix N Match Puzzle £1.49 For Little Brother Time to get creative with these colourful spinning blocks, what funny character will he make?
Grow Your Own Venus Fly Trap £4.99 For Dad I think the Venus Fly Trap has to be 'The' most masculine plant we could think of. A great plant for the study or a desk.
Pop Up Cone Puppets £2.99 For The Tots Colourful wooden puppets, these are just simply adorable.

Especially at Christmas time we think it's important for the little lads and lass to appreciate the act of giving as well as receiving. So we encourage them to buy small gifts for family and friends using their own pocket money. I came across Stocking Fillers a one stop shop for hundreds of stocking fillers, make your own or buy their pre-filled stockings. But it is also perfect for finding small gifts for under £5, they have a huge range with lots to choose from for the whole family. The kids love it, we sit together picking, choosing and thinking about what would make someone else happy and excited to unwrap on Christmas Day.

I personally love nothing more than a gift from the kids which they have chosen themselves, they are usually so excited to give it to me and it takes extreme will power to not to give the game away before Christmas Day! I love their chain of thought, why they think someone would enjoy receiving their gift and I let them choose totally independently no matter how obscure their gifts might be. It's a fantastic insight into how they view their loved ones.

Together we created this Christmas gift guide for presents under £5 from Stocking Fillers and I have to admit they chose perfect well thought out presents and I just adore the Russian Doll Pens, I'm strongly hinting and hoping to find one wrapped up underneath the Christmas tree!

If you hurray Stocking Fillers have a discount code until the 1st December 15 just use code: TINSEL to receive 10% off your order.

Introducing - Born Free & Me Kidswear

Born Free & Me

I have a soft spot for mum bosses and I love to support small businesses, so when I stumbled across Born Free & Me on Instagram I knew I had to introduce them to you. Plus I fell head over heels in love with these cool sloth skateboarding legging because who doesn't love a sloth riding a skateboard, right?!!

Jules the lovely owner of Born Free & Me recently started her online shop when she was on maternity leave, she wanted to create quirky cool and practical clothing/accessories for kids, most of which is gender-less. She's most certainly done that, her clothing range is amazing, really unique, something you just wouldn't find on the high street!
Born Free & Me Sloth Leggings
Born Free & Me Sloth Legging £14.99
Born Free and Me Childrens Clothes
Beaux loves his legging and is so excited to point out his sloths to passers by (yes, he's that child) I think the design is awesome too but also the leggings are not restrictive and are great quality, they keep their shape throughout the day. I was a little dubious about buying him white leggings, it's a well known fact kids get messy! The first time he wore his leggings we went for a walk that required wellies! Rookie mistake I know, they did get a bit muddy but they washed well on a low heat, no harm done.

Another reason I love Born Free & Me is that some of the profits are donated to the charity Love146. An amazing international human rights organisation. Love146 vision is abolition of child trafficking and exploitation. Read more about Love146 here. It's nice to know that with every purchase a donation is being made. Go check them out, their range is small but gorgeous, you wont be disappointed.

A Sneak Peek On Board the Norwegian Escape

Last week Tiger and I were treated to a day and night on board the brand spanking new Norwegian Escape for their Inaugural Cruise. We have both been really looking forward to the cruise and I was super excited to be spending some one on one time with my biggest little lad. Before the big day we spent loads of time looking online to see what entertainment Norwegian Escape had to offer. Tiger was most excited to test out the Aqua Park and impressive slides.

We arrived, quickly checked in and went to drop our bags in our stateroom. This is probably one of my favorite things about cruises, no long check ins, no transfers, our mini adventure began half an hour after we parked our car. Our stateroom was lovely, spacious and modern, loads of storage space with a new fancy shower room and all the amenities you would expect to find in a nice hotel.

Once Tiger had finished opening every draw and cupboard in our stateroom and had a good look at the other boats from our balcony we decided to have a little explore before lunch. Tigers main objective was to see the pools and test out the Kids Aqua Park as soon as possible so that's exactly what we did. The water slides looked amazing but I think Tiger was little overwhelmed by them, had we been there longer I'm sure he would have been up and down non-stop but on this time he decided that he preferred to play in the splash pool which was fantastic! It also had its own smaller tunnel slide which he loved, he could have happily stayed and played all afternoon. I couldn't help picturing Beaux running about with Tiger, he would have been in his element! There were sun loungers surrounding the splash pool which would have been perfect for a cheeky cocktail while watching the kids play.

There's something about the sea air that always makes me so hungry, for lunch we went to a complimentary buffet styled restaurant with amazing panoramic views.  I  just don't know what it is about buffets that make me unable to plate up a normal meal! But I can tell you that my bizarre combo of pizza and hamburger with blue cheese sauce and a little salad for show was very good indeed! There was so much variety for both myself and Tiger, healthy options,  light options, continental options, traditional options, everything!... and amazing desserts. There was definitely something for everyone.

That night we had reservations at the lovely La Cucina it had a lively atmosphere and you really felt like you could take your time, enjoy your meal and company. I had the most tastiest t-bone steak, it was the size of my head and i'm a little embarrassed to admit that I finished every bite. There was no children's menu but the staff said they could adapt anything on the menu but Tiger decided on calamari as a main and parmesan encrusted chips (so good!)

Earlier that day we did visit the kids club and had registered Tiger to go there for the complimentary service from 7pm-10pm but there was still so much Tiger wanted to see and do that he decided not to go, which was fine by me, we were having such a lovely day and I really didn't want it to end either.

So our first stop was a quick drink on the very top deck, the atmosphere was electric. A DJ playing across the lit swimming pools and hot tubs, everyone dancing and having a few drinks. It definitely felt like we were on holiday. I can only imagine how much better it must be when sailing through the Caribbean! Norwegian Cruises, if you ever need anyone to review a Caribbean cruise for you I am definitely your girl!!

Next on Tiger's itinerary was the impressive arcade, with all the latest simulators and arcade games. I was so impressed with Tiger shooting on the basketball game and not so impressed with him beating me TWICE on Mario Karts, I have been playing that game way before he was even born! According to him I need more practice!

It was such a fun evening that Tiger may have stayed up well passed his bedtime. Although the Norwegian Escape has a very lively night life it was so quiet in our stateroom. We snuggled up in our comfy super king bed, Tiger fell asleep the second his head hit the pillows and I stayed up to watch a film. It was just perfect.

Overall our day and night on board the Norwegian Escape was absolutely amazing! The entertainment was fantastic, had we had more time we would have loved to try out the slides, ropes, hot tubs and I would have loved to see The Brat Pack Live at the Supper Club . The food was yummy and I could have happily worked my way around the other restaurants. Our stateroom was spacious and modern, had we gone as a whole family we would have needed an interlinking room but I could tell it would have been more than enough room for us all. I would say as the Norwegian Escape is so big it would probably take a couple of days before you truly felt like you could easily navigate your way around. I loved absolutely every minute on board the Norwegian Escape with my biggest little lad.
