Odds Farm - Marmalade's Tea Room & Restaurant

Recently I was invited to sample some food from Odds Farm new Marmalade's Tea Room and Restaurant, I know, tough gig but someone has to do it!

We've never been to Odds Farm before but from the minute we walked in I couldn't help but notice how new everything looked. From the soft play area to the adventure playground and especially the Marmalade's Tea Room. The Marmalade's Tea Room has a contemporary design for the adults, while still being colourful and playful for the kids.

We were given a sample menu to try, Chicken Goujons, Lamb Burgers, Macaroni Cheese, Quiche and Salads. All of which is sourced in the UK and cooked onsite. I loved that even the chicken used to make the Chicken Goujons were from a local family run butchers.

It all looked so wholesome and delicious I couldn't wait to get stuck it! The lamb burger was so juicy, and beautifully seasoned, Beaux who was off playing in the soft play while I was tasting even caught a glimpse of it and rushed over for a bite, he declared it 'the best burger he has ever eaten!'

My favorite from the sample menu had to be the cheese and broccoli quiche, which to write sounds a bit boring and actually was the last thing I tried because I'm not usually a huge fan, but OH MY! The quiches which are made from scratch daily had a surprise onion relish at the base which was SO good!!

I could see our family happily having lunch in the Marmalade's Tea Room when visiting Odds Farm. I wont lie the kids wouldn't be interested in the quiche and bean salad as I was but they would love the burgers, chicken Goujons and Macaroni cheese. And I would be happy feeding it to them as its all such good quality!

One thing I was really shocked by was the price. I've come to expect that free range, organic and fair trade produce can be a bit more expensive but in fact at the Marmalade;s Tea Room it wasn't! It was really reasonably priced for such good food.

Once we had devoured the sample menu we were invited to visit the farm itself and sent off with a takeaway blueberry muffin and the most moist gluten free brownie I've ever eaten, needless to say they were eaten immediately!

We had a great time at Odds Farm, petting and feeding animals, playing in the adventure playground and riding the tractor. Beaux absolutely loved it and we will definitely be returning with the whole family this summer so keep an eye out for future posts.
