A Poundland Christmas

Poundland Christmas

I'm no stranger to Poundland, I'm a bargain hunter and I see absolutely no point in paying more than I have to. I usually pop into Poundland for essentials like batteries, branded cleaning products and the occasional craft bits. So when I was asked to shop at Poundland for Christmas gifts and gift wrap I was totally up for the challenge!

Beforehand, I was sent the Poundland Christmas 'Look Book' and to my surprise I was totally inspired, I instantly spotted Christmas goodies that I knew I would love, stupidly I kept thinking "ooh I love that, I wonder how much it is?!" Then I had a little giggle to myself, ONE POUND obviously!!!

Although I've been to Poundland countless times, I don't think I had ever really paid attention to the Christmas aisles. I couldn't believe how much stuff I was cramming into my shopping basket when I finally did! I'm so pleased with the Christmas presents I have bought. Although I love bargains, I hate tat and I really try to only buy gifts that I believe is good quality, that I think the recipient will love and will actually use.

I was really impressed with the Christmas presents that I found at Poundland, a Skylanded squishy toy for Beaux, he has the others characters which I believe I paid £7 each from another store. A DVD for The Mister and a Christmas Spongebob DVD for the little lad's Christmas Eve Box. A tin of shortbread, which will be lovely in the Christmas Hamper I make for the Grandparents and also (not pictured) a diary and pen set for Violet. I also bought a cheeky present for myself, I love the Stereophonics and this album is missing from my collection, I was really pleased I spotted this! All these gifts and for only seven pounds!

I love wrapping presents and like to go all out, it's a bit of an event and tradition for me. I get the Christmas music on, pour myself a glass of mulled wine or a hot chocolate cocktail and get wrapping. I like to use lots of gorgeous wrapping paper, pretty ribbons, statement washi tape and cute tags.

Poundland had a great selection of all of these and because everything was only £1 I felt like I could grab a great selection. I love how they've turned out and just how darling are these little jingle bells?! I think they are Christmas tree decorations but I liked using these to decorate my presents.

I was sent to Poundland for Christmas gift wrap and presents but I found lots of Christmas decorations, glass baubles, fairy lights, and for £1 each I just couldn't resist. All of the Christmas decorations, gift wrap and presents I bought is really good value for money and I'm feeling all set for Christmas!

    1. Thank you! I'm so into nicely wrapped presents, unfortunately I won't get the same treatment from The Mister, I will be lucky if he doesn't use brown parcel wrapping tape! x
